Choose your community name
Until now, the word "guild" was used by default across all Guildi sites. While this works perfectly for classic MMO players, it didn't suit every game: an alliance in a strategy game, a clan in an FPS, an order or a legion in an RPG… every community has its own language.
What's new
You can now choose your community type directly from your site's settings. This option is available when first creating your site, and can also be changed at any time from the configuration panel.
The nine available options are: guild, clan, alliance, team, company, corporation, order, brotherhood, legion.
Once your choice is made, the term updates automatically throughout your entire site — menus, pages, forum, recruitment… everything adapts without any manual editing on your part.
Why this change?
Guildi has always aimed to welcome all gaming communities, well beyond traditional MMO guilds. This update is a concrete step in that direction: your site should speak the same language as your community.
We hope this improvement makes Guildi feel even more like home. As always, if you have any questions or feedback, feel free to reach out to support from your user dashboard.
