Guildi is strengthening the protection of your members' data

Guildi will step up how it protects your members' personal data, there's nothing you need to do, but some of it will show on your site, so we'd rather give you a heads-up.

Accounts that have been inactive for a long time will be anonymised automatically. Don't worry, none of your site's content is lost: only the member's personal details (username, email address, avatar) are erased. Their forum posts, comments and everything else they published stay right where they are, simply signed "Anonymous". If your guild has members who left years ago, several accounts may turn anonymous at once as soon as this goes live.

Members getting close to that point will receive reminder emails, and logging back in is all it takes to keep their account. If anyone asks you about these emails, you can reassure them: they're genuine.
