🎂 Guildi turns 14

Guildi was born in 2012. Back then, the idea was simply to give a guild a place of its own: a presentation page, a forum, a raid calendar. Fourteen years later, gaming communities are still writing their recruitment posts, organising their evenings and telling their stories there.

What fourteen years actually means

Fourteen years is an eternity in online gaming. Servers have closed. Games have changed names, publishers, engines. Entire platforms — some far bigger than us — went dark overnight, taking their communities' forums, raid reports and archives with them.

Your sites are still online. Your old posts are still readable. Your pages are still indexed, in both of your languages. It may be the least spectacular thing Guildi does, and it's the one we're proudest of: a community has a memory, and that memory needs somewhere to live.

It's also what sets us apart from instant chat tools. They're excellent for the here and now — we're not trying to replace them. But what gets written there disappears into the stream. Guildi is built for what has to stay: a guild charter, a raid report, a recruitment application, a chronicle.

And no, we're not done

A fourteen-year-old project could settle for ticking over. That's not what's happening: several projects are underway, all driven by the same question — what is wasting your time when you run a guild?

It brings member-declared availability you can read at a glance, slot suggestions that point to the best times for your roster, recurring events (no more recreating the same raid every week), adjustable reminders, and a personal feed each member can plug into their own calendar.

Real-time chat, hosted on your site, with reactions and pinned messages — for those quick pre-raid decisions, without leaving the guild's home.

📖 A lore wiki tied to what you play

For communities that write: a place to gather the characters, locations and events of your universe, connected to your games rather than filed away in a separate tool.

🔗 A better link with Discord

Many of you live on both platforms at once. We're working on bringing them closer together, so that going back and forth between your Discord and your guild site takes fewer steps.
