Theme management
Themes allow you to specify the design elements of your website: structure, colours, fonts...
Each site has at least one active theme and it is possible to activate several of them: some themes can be inactive (specific design for an event for example) and others can be active only for administrators to visualize the rendering on your pages without impacting your site visitors.
To access the theme management, go to the Features > Themes section of the back office.
From this page you can modify your themes and create new ones.
Selecting a template
The most important element of a theme is its "template".
A template represents the structure of your site and the display style of the modules: depending on the selected template, the position of the main menu can change, the modules can have a border, you can have a banner with a photo on all the pages etc...
Customised design
The "Customisation" section of the themes allows you to modify the graphic charter of your site.
You can thus modify different elements:
- The main colours
- The fonts for the titles
- The fonts for the texts
- The background of the site (colour, photo, texture...)
- The effects on the modules (rounding...)
When you modify the customisation, consult your site again to see the changes.
Advanced customisation
The "Advanced Customisation" section of the themes allows you to customise your guild site element by element.
With this you can have total control over the appearance of your site.
To customize an element, select it from the list.
In the next page, you will have access to different customisation sections:
- Text: colour, size etc. of the font
- Background: colour, image etc... in the background
- Borders: borders of the element
- Advanced: inner and outer spacing
- Dimensions: width and height
The available headings may vary depending on the element to be customised.
The layout of the widgets
When you add a widget to a page you have an option "Enable module layout".
This option allows you to have a design for the widget that depends on the theme you have activated and your customisation.
When this option is unchecked, you have a simple block with no design.
The "layout" is a set of HTML elements allowing you to customise your site with CSS as you wish.
